Meet McGuider
Remember MacGuiver. Well, you ain’t seen nothing yet, because now there is McGuider. This tough ass navigation hero finds his way .. the easy way. And so can you!
McGuider is a Memory card you simply have to plug in your (gps enabled) cellphone to convert it to a navigation system. Actually worlk great, you can see it in action here.
McGuider campaign developed by These Days (the company I work for) for Tele Atlas.
Good map system, BUT – you cant do an A to B Tomtom style navigation and preview unless you try BEFORE a GPS fix is found. The option dissapears once a GPS fix is found. This is the only MAJOR ommision in route planning and shouild be fixed to make it 100%.
I got the mcguider for use in the UK. This is by far the worst navigation software I have used. It just cannnot get road numbers correct and has rubbish routing software and it cant find many uk post codes . ?50 down the toilet.
Off to get the navigator version 8 from Directions ltd which I should have got i the first place
